When they're attacked, and Zack abducted, Quinn is rescued by a dark, dangerously handsome vampire who takes her to his home. The Vampire terrifies, then seduces Quinn, drinking her blood, and in doing so discovers her magic. She's the one they've been looking for. But Quinn's only concern is finding Zack. So when the Vampire delivers her to his cruel master (duty trumps desire), she finds a way to escape. The Vampire goes after her. Not only is she the only hope for VC, but she's inexplicably intrigued him, and he's not letting her go again.
