Moral Theology: A Reader is a selection of essays on some central concerns of Catholic moral theology, including conscience, making moral judgements, the meaning of 'natural law', how Christian faith may illuminate both personal moral decisions and the response of the Church to such problems as the AIDS pandemic. Each piece in the collection has proved useful for group discussion work, especially with beginners, and it is especially suitable for use with Patrick Hannon's Moral Decision Making (Veritas, 2005). The editor's introduction places each of the contributions in context, providing a framework that should be helpful for a systematic study.
