Managing Police Organizations Summary

Managing Police Organizations by Paul M. Whisenand

Now in its seventh edition, Managing Police Organizations sets the standard for police leadership and management by exploring the relationship between leadership, management, and results. Written for a broad audience, the book focuses on developing one's character and one's leadership competencies. Using case studies and structured learning exercises, it seeks to chip away at constricting operational levels and barriers within the organization itself and the community it serves.
