Billy Bantam is a strange, sad, silent boy who haunts the misty marshes around Annie's new home. Annie doesn't know who he is, or where he's come from, but she can see she needs a friend, ghostly or not. Danger is threatening everyone around her, and Annie and the ghost-boy have to help.
