About Phil Vickery

Phil Vickery was the former head chef at the Castle in Taunton. His creativity was particularly rewarded in 1995 when he won the Egon Ronay Dessert of the Year Award and, more recently, when he won the Egon Ronay Chef of the Year Award in 1998. A six-years-trained pastry chef, Phil Vickery is instantly recognisable from his many appearances on Ready Steady Cook and Who ll do the Pudding.
