About Philip Steele

PHILIP STEELE has written books on history, geography, and cultural and social themes and is an established author, chiefly of children's non-fiction. He graduated from University College, Durham, graduating in Modern languages in 1971. After graduating, he worked as an editor for various book publishers in London before moving to the Isle of Anglesey, in North Wales, where he now lives. Hisrecent publications include Encyclopedia of British History and A City Through Time.
