A fun, fresh twist on the spy novel in which two ordinary kids use their smarts to outwit the schemes of a group of foreign terrorists.

The Secret of Rover Summary

The Secret of Rover by Rachel Wildavsky

This fun, thrilling adventure story has echoes of "War Games" (the Matthew Broderick film) as it follows two scrappy kids, Katie and David Bowden, on a race across country ahead of a group of terrorists to find their reclusive, inventor uncle--the only one who might be able to help them locate their kidnapped parents, taken for the government secrets they posses of a technology called ROVER that can locate anyone in the world. It is a fast-paced, page-turning tale.
