Understanding ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS: A Worktext (with Cengage EncoderPro.com Demo Printed Access Card and Studyware) Reviews

I feel this text will be useful in helping instructors and students learn the material for ICD-10 and the transition that will occur. Most of the schools are going to have to start teaching the material to the students in the school year starting in 2011 to have them ready for May graduation in 2013. Betty HaarProgram DirectorKirkwood Community CollegeCedar Rapids, IA
The authors cover the concepts in a manner that students understand and the text book is very user friendly. Beginners in coding are very overwhelmed and worried that they will not be able to grasp the topic. The text breaks each body system down in a very understandable and efficient manner in layman's terms. I feel this book will continue to be useful to both instructors and students as this transition occurs.
