Getting Started in Global Investing by Robert P. Kreitler
There are fifty markets outside of the UK markets, twenty five of which have developed regulatory environments and produce consistently stable currencies. Investing in these global markets offers the prospect of an increasingly diversified portfolio, while simultaneously reducing risk. This work aims to provide investors with a practical introduction to the principles of modern portfolio theory and the island principles of investing, both of which stress an approach to investing which considers all of the global markets and their potential for high returns.
