This study of Mark's Gospel presents the results of modern biblical scholarship at a level which is suitable for schools students. It encourages a questioning and analytical approach to the Gospel and provides work sections aimed at developing knowledge, evaluation and understanding, in response to the demands of the GCSE examinations. Special attention is given to the significance of the Gospel in the modern world and this is reflected in the "For Today" sections placed throughout the book.
