The Fact Finders series is the non-fiction component of Oxford's infant reading scheme, Oxford Reading Tree. The Fact Finders introduce non-fiction books to children, and focus on developing the information retrieval and handling skills they need to use them effectively. The series encompasses a whole range of genres, illustration styles, and subject focuses. The first 18 titles are grouped into three topic units: Myself, Families, and Houses and homes. The Big Books are large format, but otherwise identical to the pupils' books. Previously only available in packs of six titles (ISBN 0-19-916674-9), they are now available individually.
