Personality at Work: The Drivers and Derailers of Leadership Summary

Personality at Work: The Drivers and Derailers of Leadership by Ronald Warren

The 13 personality traits that either drive or derail your success - and why they matter more than ever before for professionals in the age of InfoTech

Personality matters. The actions and interactions between individuals have a huge impact on outcomes in the workplace, as in life. This impact is played out in every profession, at times with extraordinary and at times disastrous results. And while each of us has good and bad days, something more is in play here, something that in common language, as in the social sciences, we call personality.

Personality at Work integrates the latest research on personality and performance, teamwork and communications and judgment and decision-making. Readers learn how six personality traits drive and seven traits derail leadership effectiveness. Throughout the book, readers recognize their own personality patterns and those of their colleagues.

Drawing on LMAP 360 proprietary research with 20,000 leaders, Personality at Work highlights how pervasively personality drives or derails leadership effectiveness.
