All those involved in the assessment of candidates working towards NVQ and GNVQ qualifications will soon need to be accredited assessors themselves. All assessors will have to gain the appropriate assessor/verifier and/or APL adviser units of the Training and Development Lead Body standards. This text provides a practical, step-by-step guide which explains what is required from assessors to satisfy the elements and performance criteria of Units D32, D33, D34 and D36. It also offers guidelines on how to perform efficiently as an assessor.
