Roy Norris began teaching in 1984 in Selby, North Yorkshire, where he taught French and German in a comprehensive school for five years. At the end of the eighties he moved to Madrid and started a career in ELT. Most of his time there has been spent working with International House, as teacher, teacher-trainer and at one point Cambridge Examinations Co-ordinator. In the mid-1990s he spent 18 months in Vilnius, Lithuania, where he held the post of Director of Studies at Soros International House. Amanda French began her career in English language teaching as the dictation teacher and then completed DTEFLA (Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language to Adults). She is a CELTA assessor and has written CAE, BEC and IELTS papers, CAE Testbuilder and contributed to the Ready for CAE Workbook and KET Testbuilder.
