Ruth K Westheimer is a psychosexual therapist best known for pioneering the field of media psychology with her radio and television shows. While the world has long turned to Dr. Ruth for answers to sex-related questions, her doctorate from Columbia Teacher's College is on the study of the family and ever since becoming a grandmother herself, she has devoted part of her recent activities to exploring this stage of human relations, first with a book aimed at children, Dr. Ruth Talks AboutGrandparents, and then with a documentary, No MissingLinks, which examines how grandparents have transmitted traditional values from generation to generation.
