Summary
This novelization of the life of James Dean uses actual events as a basis for understanding: the early death of a doting mother and the broken relationship with an unfeeling father; his apple pie adolescence in Fairmount, Indiana, raised by a wholesome aunt and uncle; and his sexual awakening.
