Dublin Handbook: The Travel Guide by Sean Sheehan

A city guide to Dublin covering significant sights, museums and art galleries, as well as accommodation, restaurants, bars, clubs and entertainment on offer. Organized district by district and designed to help readers know what to look out for and how to make the most of their time. This guide offers the low-down on the city of Dublin - from Phoenix Park in the North to Joyce's Dublin. The guide features practical transport options for buses, bikes, taxis and DART rail links, colour highlights of the city, the best walker-friendly routes for getting about on foot, accommodation listings from cheap hostels and B&Bs to luxury 5-star hotels, and details of the city's festivals and events calendar.

About Sean Sheehan

Sean Sheehan was brought up in London but every summer holiday was spent in Ireland and only glimpses from train windows on journeys from Euston to Holyhead suggested that other places existed. After adult years of travelling and living in Southeast Asia Sean now has his home in Ireland. Patricia Levy visited West Cork one Easter when she was 19 and the memory of the spring flowers and heather on the hills has continued to draw her back like a narcotic. She is an experienced travel writer and now lives in Ireland.
