Dead Guy's Stuff by Sharon Fiffer
Fresh on the heels of KILLER STUFF, Sharon Fiffer's auspicious debut, Jane Wheel is making a career out of going through old things; it seems she can't get enough of the piles of vintage clothing, kitchen utensils, old newspapers and report cards she finds at estate sales across the Chicago area. As she's cataloguing her loot one Saturday afternoon, however, Jane makes a gruesome discovery. Packed in with the contents of a 1950s-era tavern she bought lock, stock and barrel, she uncovers a human finger entombed in a tiny jar. And there the mystery begins.
