Shawn Kittelsen is the writer of Mortal Kombat X, a bestselling comic series published by DC Comics and based on the legendary games. His screenplays have received the MPI Fellowship, a Coca-Cola Refreshing Filmmakers Award, and the Russell Hexter Grant. Formerly a Creative Executive for DC Entertainment, he contributed to blockbuster titles including Batman: Arkham City and Injustice: Gods Among Us. As a Creative Director, he led award-winning marketing campaigns for Activision, Deep Silver, Square Enix and Ubisoft.
