About Shelley Presson

Shelley Presson, a former professional competition sport climber, was once ranked second in the United States. During 1989 - 1994, she traveled full-time to compete in climbing events around the world, including a two-year stint on the World Cup circuit. During her last year of international competition she was ranked 15th in the world. A contributing editor of Climbing magazine, she also has a career in marketing and public relations in the outdoor sports field. Her climbing clinics, "The Power of Technique," have been held throughout North America since 1993. Shelley is featured in the "Masters of Stone" video series, and has worked as a model, in television commercials, as a World Cup Commentator, and as a movie stunt double.
