A Journey to Disillusionment by Sherbaz Khan Mazari
Though primarily the memoirs of a leading Opposition figure, this book is also, in part, a history of Pakistan. Beginning with Mazari's entering the fray as a young man in opposition to the Ayub Khan government, it goes on to give an account of the Bhutto and Zia periods. The author makes interesting revelations about the leading political players and the events of those tumultuous times, which eventually led to Bhutto's ousting in 1977.
