Russian in Your Pocket by Shirley Baldwin
This phrasebook provides the language needed to cover all situations likely to be met on a holiday in the USSR, from arriving in the country and dealing with Customs and hotel staff to finding one's way around on public transport and making contact with ordinary Russian people. In addition to simple phrases, some useful information has been included to provide practical help in each situation. There is also a wordlist at the end for reference. Each phrase is transliterated into the Latin alphabet, following as closely as possible the way in which it sounds. The Russian version is given directly beneath should difficulty arise.
