Health and the Environment: The Linacre Lectures 1992-3 by Sir Bryan Cartledge (Principal, Linacre College, Oxford University)

In this book leading medical scientists and environmentalists look at the connectins between the environment, social policy, and levels of well-being in both developing and developed countries. Topics covered include nuclear power, food supply, and water quality. Disease is considered, especially in the context of the tropics, and the connections betwwen the virulence of infectious diseases and environmental conditions are examined.
