Smriti Halls (Author) Smriti Halls is an internationally bestselling, award-winning childrens author, published in more than 40 languages worldwide. Her best-loved stories include Rain Before Rainbows, the Im Sticking With You series, The Little Island and I Love You Night and Day (Publishers Weekly #1 bestseller, Wall Street Journal bestseller). Whether humorous or lyrical, her books are full of hope and heart and are loved by children and adults alike. Smriti is a former Writer in Residence for Booktrust and is a patron for the School Library Association. South Indian by birth, British by nationality and London-loving at heart, she lives and works near Richmond Park with her husband and their three sons. Clare Fennell (Illustrator) Clare Fennell studied Illustration and Graphic Design at De Montfort University, Leicester, and went on to work in a design studio before illustrating over 35 books. She loves working in collage and finishing in Photoshop to clear up all the messy bits. Clare works from her home studio in Leicestershire, with three crazy cats, tons of coffee, and good tunes.
