Sue C. DeLaune is currently the Education Director of S DeLaune Consulting, an independent continuing education business in Mandeville, Louisiana. She is also Assistance Professor of Nursing at William Carey University, New Orleans, Louisiana, where she provides didactic and clinical instruction to students in fundamentals of nursing. DeLaune has over 35 years of experience as a clinician, administrator and educator. Patricia K. Ladner, after retiring from forty years of nursing in 2005, has served as the Volunteer Coordinator for three Catholic Churches in DeLisle, Mississippi, Katrina Recovery. Following Katrina, she has presented numerous workshops on Infection Control and Dealing with Loss, as well as coordinating the activities of volunteers from many states. She is a former Consultant for Nursing Practice in the Louisiana State Board of Nursing and has taught nursing in diploma and associate degree schools of nursing prior to her retirement. Ms. Ladner has been recognized as one of the Great 100 Nurses by the New Orleans District Nurses Association and is a 2009 Caring Woman Honoree by the Biloxi Regional Medical Center and Cable One. Ms. Ladner holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from Marillac College, St. Louis, Missouri, a Master's Degree in Counseling and Guidance from Troy State University, Troy, Alabama and a Master's Degree in Nursing from Louisiana State University Medical Center, New Orleans, Louisiana.
