About Terrence E. Deal

Kent D. Peterson is professor in the Department of Educational Administration at the University of Wisconsin Madison. He is founding director of the Vanderbilt Principals Institute. He is author of The Leadership Paradox (Jossey Bass, 1994) and with Terrence Deal coauthor of Shaping School Culture (Jossey Bass, 1999). Terrence E. Deal is Irving R. Melbo Professor at the University of Southern California. He is author and coauthor of a number of bestselling books including Leading With Soul, Revised and Updated (Jossey Bass, 2001), and Reframing Organizations: Artistry, Choice, and Leadership, Second Edition (Jossey Bass, 1997 ).
