The Early Stones: Legendary Photographs of a Band in the Making by Terry Southern
Between 1963 and 1973, Michael Cooper worked and played with the Rolling Stones - travelled with them, and photographed them. Accompanied by the reminiscences of Keith Richards, Anita Pallenberg and Marianne Faithfull, Cooper's pictures provide a photographic record of a band in the making. Michael Cooper photographed some of the most talked-about arts and music events of the 1960s, including the album covers of the Rolling Stones' Their Satanic Majesties Request and the Beatles' Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
