About Timothy Ashburner

Tim Ashburner was born in 1937 and at the age of 9 was first taken to a ski jumping competition, and at once fell under the spell of its thrills. He competed both as a down-hill racer and ski jumper and has been the British Ski Federation's ski jumping manager since 1986.
