The Election Book Reviews

'Anyone with the remotest interest in the bloodsport we call Irish politics simply has to pick up a new publication that is guaranteed to enthral them from start to finish. The Election Book began life as a sort of written accompaniment to the RTE Radio 1 series, the Constituency, but it has evolved into quite possibly the best insight into the real drama - out front and behind the scenes - of an Irish General Election. With contributions from RTE's baker's dozen of heavyweights - The Election Book, as they say, does exactly what it says on the tin. . . . quite simply if you have the remotest interest in Irish politics, you'll love this book'' -- Westmeath Independent
'highly entertaining and informative articles . . . features opinions and anecdotes of some of the country's top political commentators' -- Sligo Champion
'It contains the perceived wisdom of a group of people and at times it is very witty.' -- Longford News
'The book contains a collection of opinions and anecdotes of some of the country's most eminent political commentators, reflecting on the election process over the last forty years' -- Derry People Donegal News * Derry People & Donegal News *
'an interesting and varied book . . .worth buying' -- Sligo Weekender
