All four of Theresa Tomlinson's "Time-Slip" adventure books are based in or around Sheffield, where she now lives. "Errand Lass" is the tale of a young girl called Mais, who goes back in time to Victorian Sheffield and works as a buffer girl in the cutlery trade.
