Andrea de Bejczy, M.D, Ph.D, is a senior researcher and head of the Clinical Trial Section of the Addiction Biology Unit at Institute of Neuroscience and Physiology, Department of Psychiatry and Neurochemistry at the Sahlgrenska Academy, University of Gothenburg and has a leading role in alcohol studies as at the Department of Addiction and Dependency, Sahlgrenska University Hospital. Andrea de Bejczys main research area is randomized controlled trials on new pharmacotherapies for alcohol dependence, with focus on drugs targeting the dopamine system. A parallel focus for de Bejczys research is bio-markers in alcohol dependence.
