Seaby Standard Catalogue of British Coins: 1995 by Volume editor Stephen Mitchell
Since 1929, this book has been a major work of reference for collectors, dealers and all those interested in the coinage of Britain - as well as being a resource book for historians researching coin evidence. Each year it is updated and experts contribute new material. The catalogue contains over 1500 coin illustrations, lists all the major coin types from Celtic coinage to the present day and gives prices for two grades of preservation from the 7th century to Charles II, and values for three grades of preservation from the reign of Charles II to the present day. All prices are a reflection of dealing in the market at the time of going to press.
