About Wayne M. Sotile

Wayne M. Sotile, Ph.D., and Mary O. Sotile, m.a., are directors of a couples and family therapy practice in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Together, they have spent more than 60,000 hours helping thousands of busy couples revitalize their relationships. The success of their uniquely practical approaches to helping couples cope with stress has earned them an international reputation as experts in the field. They have been featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Psychology Today, and on Good Morning America. They are also the authors of The Medical Marriage: A Couples Survival Guide. Wayne and Mary have been married for 20 years and have two daughters, Rebecca and Julia. When not at work, the Sotiles can be found at Lake Norman, North Carolina, where Wayne spends most of his time fishing, Rebecca and Julia water-ski, and Mary loves being still.
