Brief Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy by Windy Dryden
Brief therapy is a process which involves a limited number of therapeutic or counselling sessions, with agreed objectives and client engagement in the process. Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy combines elements of rational emotive therapy (pioneered by Albert Ellis in the USA and Windy Dryden in the UK) and behavioural cognitive therapy (the most common technique for psychotherapy in clinical situations).
