Who Shall Serve? A Story for the Times by Annie S. Swan
1891. No edition remarks. 408 pages. No dust jacket. Grey decorated cloth covered boards with gilt. Decorated end-papers. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Cracking to gutters, with exposed netting at boards, causing the binding to be shaky. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Book has a slight forward lean. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains.
