Free endpapers and pastedowns are moderately tanned and foxed, with minor dog-eared corners. Former owner's inscription to frontispiece rear. Pencil inscription on front pastedown. Noticeable cracking to hinge and gutter, with exposed netting. Small nicks along text block edge. Plates are moderately tanned with foxing present. Boards have moderate shelf-wear with minor bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Moderate tanning and sunning to spine and edges.
