Black and white photographic plates throughout with similar frontispiece with tissue guard. Pages bright with some tanning and foxing, particularly to textblock edges and endpapers. Some cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding slightly loose. Pencil annotations to front pastedown. Boards have reasonably heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and rubbing and moderate staining all over. Gilt lettering is slightly dulled.
