Both boards completely detached, but still present. Marbled endpapers and pastedowns. Pages remain firmly bound together. Pages are noticeably tanned with visible foxing throughout. More pronounced to edges and to plates. Water markings to text block edges. Text is unaffected. Occasional thumb-marking. Boards are completely detached from text block with loss to edges and noticeable wear. Spine strip attached to rear board. Leather peeling noticeably to all surfaces. Scuffing with marks and scratches to paper covering both boards.
