Ex-Library copy, with expected inserts and inscriptions. Gilt applied to top edge text block, remaining sides are rough cut. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Minor pencil marking to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Cloth has moderate damp and dust stains. Tearing to cloth. Gilt lettering is darkened.
