Pages are notably thumb-marked, with heavy tanning and moderate foxing to endpapers and text block edges. Loss to rear endpaper, with minor insect damage to rear hinge. Heavy cracking to gutters with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Binding is fairly loose. Notable folding to pages 193-198. Rubbing, liquid drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Residue staining to pages 74-75. Boards have heavy shelf-wear with noticeable bumping and fraying to corners, crushing to spine ends and considerate rub wear to surfaces. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Mottled mould to surfaces. Book has a prominent forward lean.
