Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions; originally paperback. Part I. Black and white illustrated plates. Minor foxing and noticeable tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges, not too noticeable to pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking to gutters; some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild staining, tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has much heavier cracking, creasing and tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean.
