Cracking to front hinge with netting exposed. Binding loose. A previous owner's name to front free endpaper and textblock edge. Heavy red scribbles to a page at front. Boards have heavy shelf wear with bumping and fraying to corners and crushing, fraying and tearing to spine ends and edges. All surfaces tanned and sunned, particularly spine. Gilt lettering to spine is dulled but remains brighter on front. Book has slight forward lean.
