Previous owner's inscription to front paste-down. Front free end paper removed. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Some occasional moderate to heavy cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Mild crushing to spine ends, with fraying cloth and small splits. Boards have minor damp and dust stains. Ring marks to front board. Sunning to spine. Gilt lettering has become dull.
