Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Small splits to spine. Unclipped jacket has heavy edge-wear with some areas of loss, heavy tears, chips and creasing.
