Binding remains reasonably firm, cracked at front and rear board gutters with exposed netting. Pages and plates remain bright and clear. Some rubbing to the title page. 2 early pages have some light water marks at the top. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Minor fraying to cloth at spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt decoration is quite bright.
