Pages are fairly bright with moderate tanning to free endpapers and text block edges. Moderate foxing throughout. Pencil inscription to front free endpaper, with dark water drops and a few small nicks along text block edge. Slight cracking to hinge and gutters, with exposed netting. Binding remains firm. Occasional grey thumb-marking present throughout, with pencil marginalia and underlining to page 49. Boards have light shelf-wear with minor corner bumping and mild crushing to spine ends. Boards are subtly bowed. Moderate tanning to spine and edges. Gilt is bright and clear.
