Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. End papers are more notably foxed. Cracking to hinges, no damage to end papers. Some occasional moderate to heavy cracking to gutters throughout, binding remains reasonably firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Moderate crushing to spine ends, with splitting, fraying and loss to the head, tail and joints. Gilt lettering is darkened. Cloth has minor damp and dust stains. Book has a slight forward lean. Moderate tanning to spine.
