Jesus the Son of Man: His Words and His Deeds as Told and Recorded by Those Who Knew Him by Kahlil Gibran

1928. No Edition Stated. 216 pages. No dust jacket. Black cloth with gilt lettering and decoration. Contains black and white illustrations and colour plates. Severe cracking to hinges causing boards to be loose. Binding is loose with cracking to gutters. Pages remain somewhat attached. Water staining to text block edges with occasional markings to pages. Text is unaffected. Rough-cut edges with tears, chips, and creases. Mild tanning and foxing throughout, more pronounced to free endpapers and pastedowns. Boards have heavy edge wear with corner bumping. Large splits to spine ends and joints causing cloth to be frayed. Visible markings with scratches and occasional water stains. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear.
