Front board has an illustration pasted on. Jacket states 'the Pease edition'. Pages are mildly tanned and occasionally foxed throughout. Plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. End papers are more notably tanned and foxed. Plates are bright and clear. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Unclipped jacket has heavy edgewear with some areas of loss to spine and rear panel, plus heavy chips and creasing. Jacket is rather rubbed and marked overall with mild foxing.
