Pages are mildly tanned and foxed, heavier to edges, but text remains clear. Plates are bright. Binding is firm. Small pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Boards have moderate shelf-wear, with noticeable corner bumping and some scuffing to edges. Visible splitting to bottom corner of front board. Spine ends are moderately crushed and frayed with slight splitting. Moderate rubbing and scuffing overall, with other noticeable marks. Gilt is bright.
